Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to www.ecuadorexperience.travel (the “Site”) and the way you contract with Ecuador Lifetime Experience (“we”, “us”, “our”) for tailor-made travel in Ecuador. By using the Site or asking us to plan a journey, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Rules that apply to a confirmed booking — payment, changes, cancellation, parks, and insurance — are in our Booking & Travel Policy. How we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy. If those documents conflict on a booking point, the Booking & Travel Policy and your written quotation control.
1. Who we are
Ecuador Lifetime Experience is a tour operator based in Quito, Ecuador. We design itineraries across Galápagos, the Highlands, the Amazon, and the Pacific Coast, and we arrange lodges, yachts, transfers, guides, and park logistics through third-party suppliers.

2. The Site
The Site is provided for information and enquiry. Photographs, region pages, and activity descriptions are illustrative. Lodges, yachts, wildlife, weather, and park access change. We do not warrant that every image or itinerary idea will be available on your dates.
We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the Site without notice. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Content may be cached; a hard refresh may be needed to see the latest version.
3. No online checkout
The Site does not sell rooms or tickets through an automated cart. A message, form, or “request a quote” action is an invitation to treat, not a booking. No contract for travel is formed until we send a written quotation and you accept it in the manner described in the Booking & Travel Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, other accounts, or our systems;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy content except as allowed by ordinary browsing or a written licence from us;
- introduce malware or overload the Site;
- impersonate another person when you enquire;
- submit content that infringes someone else’s rights.
We may block access or refuse to correspond if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise marked, the Site’s text, layout, logos, and photographs are owned by us or used under licence. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy our itineraries, reuse photographs, or frame the Site without our prior written consent. “Ecuador Lifetime Experience” and related marks are our branding.
6. Third-party sites and suppliers
Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, maps, or supplier sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Bookings we place with lodges, yachts, airlines, and parks are subject to those suppliers’ own terms as well as ours.
7. Traveller information
You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, passport details, and health or accessibility information you give us. Errors can cause denied boarding, permit refusal, or extra fees, which you must pay. See the Booking & Travel Policy for passports, visas, vaccines, and insurance.
8. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that Ecuadorian law does not allow us to exclude, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- the Site and its content are provided “as is”;
- we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss of profit, business, or data arising from use of the Site;
- we are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent suppliers except as the Booking & Travel Policy or mandatory consumer law provides;
- our aggregate liability arising from use of the Site (as opposed to a confirmed travel contract) is limited to USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Liability for a confirmed journey is set out in the Booking & Travel Policy and your quotation.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or inaccurate information you provided, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Site you acknowledge that notice. Consent is requested only where the law requires it (for example optional marketing).
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute about the Site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. The courts of Quito, Pichincha, have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer forum that applies to you. We prefer to resolve complaints in writing first — see the Booking & Travel Policy.
12. Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms. A confirmed booking remains subject to the terms in force when you accepted the quotation, unless you agree otherwise in writing.
13. Severability
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
